On Trend: Mesh!

Mesh is the hottest trend out right now. From dresses to skirts, to shirts,to bodysuits,  to swimwear, mesh is everywhere and it is SEXY! Just a whisp of skin showcased from the boob line to the navel is all the rage in all the fashions from size 0 to size 3X.  The only requirement for wearing mesh is to own it!  It's sexy so do it! A word of caution though: pick the girls up! (no sagging boobs) You can  purchase body tape or you can wear a bra with the look. It just depends on how much boobage you're working with lol! Quality Clothing

  I see skinny heffas in cheap clothing all the time and think my jeans cost way more than their whole outfit (shoes included) lol! My outfit of the day (#ootd)  is fab and is and like worth 3 times as much as hers but nobody cares or knows this but me. I take pride in this as well as bitterness lol!Why cute plus sized clothes cost a guap (go to urban dictionary if unfamiliar with the term)?  It's no secret dolls! We pay a lot of money for clothes. However, the fashion world is beginning to take notice. Many high end designers are introducing Plus sized lines. Michael Kors, DKNY, Carolina Herrara, YSL, and many more have extended sizes up to a 20. I prefer higher quality materials. They fit better, last longer, and are more durable when washing. Higher quality doesnt mean name brand either; just suitable goodlooking materials in a great fit. There's nothing worse than a cheap ill fitting outfit. So I caution you all to be selective with the fabrics/materials in your fashion choices. Most stores of high quality offer sales you just have to keep your eyes open ( thats where I come in) and your wallet full.  Happy Shopping Curvy Dolls!

SPANX ! Friend or Foe?

Welcome! This is my very first blog and I must talk about one of my most favorite and least favorite fashion accessories of all time for us curvy dolls; Spanx!!   I have a love / hate relationship with them and as of right now I have sworn them off! Spanx are not your friends! They are your part time lover-- booty call if you will. They are intended to help the physique appear more shapely temporarily. Now there's nothing wrong with a little help every now and then but ultimately wouldn't you like to wear your fab clothes without any help and feel proud! And Is it just me or are they getting more and more expensive? I think they cost too much to still roll up on you at the most in opportune time😂. I mean what do you on a date that turns into a sleepover? Do you let him remove your Spanx or do you exit quickly into the bathroom to remove them and then wonder where/how to dispose of them? I think not!! So the gym has become my new old friend and the Spanx are outta here!  What are your thoughts and your experiences curvy dolls? I'm listening!
